My exploration of the Flamenco community in DC, reminded me the importance of community, childhood innocence, and what it means to inspire a generation. At the root of it, Flamenco is dance, but it is also a way of life, a cultural representation, a celebration, and family.

Flamenco 4 Kids is a small collective of young dancers under the direction of Magdalena Bailaora. Weekly classes consit of lessons in authentic sounds, sights, and movements from the Andulcían range of Spain in Tenelytown, DC. The children classes bring in kids from all parts of the DMV, ages varying from three to twelve years old.
